What Are Some Of The Advantages Of Prefabricated Reinforcement?
Quality Assurance
We perform state of the art cutting, bending and welding in a controlled environment to ensure they meet specifications and Australian standards. We will always ensure the cages are built for purpose and can withstand normal site requirements, transportation and handling.
Saving Time On-Site
Prefabrication can replace the need for on-site steel fixing. The speed to simply place the item in position ready to be covered in concrete is a major site advantage. Prefabricated cages usually require just one lift and fewer people to manage the job, saving time and expense. Prefabricated cages are also delivered whole and are not affected by weather or other factors that could delay on-site construction.
Custom Fabrication
Let us look at your drawings to see what is possible for prefabrication. Common examples include columns, beams, footings and capping beams, bored piers and mats. If you have any specific custom requirements for prefabrication contact us today for a quote.
Built To Standards
All of our cages are built to your specifications and Australian Standards. Only materials meeting or exceeding the relevant standards are used.
Competitive Pricing
Purpose built machinery used to make the cages in a workshop environment allows us to make cages quickly and efficiently, keeping the costs down. Because of this you’ll find our pricing is very competitive when compared with traditional on-site construction.
No Wastage
Prefabrication off-site means there is no wastage compared with on-site construction. This not only makes the job cleaner and easier to manage, but also removes the costs associated with over supply and removal of waste.
In House Delivery
All of our cages are delivered using our own team of delivery drivers and vehicles. This is so we can better manage delivery schedules and handling of the cages, as well as understand the requirements of the job on site.
Alongside our fleet of rigid crane trucks, we can provide an articulated truck with an extendable trailer to accommodate longer units. Longer cages provide more efficiency by eliminating lap and splice materials
